Donald Trump expects to nominate a justice to fill the vacant seat on the Supreme Court within two weeks of his inauguration on Jan. 20, the President-elect said during a news conference on Wednesday.
The nomination will likely come in the second week of his presidency, following inauguration celebrations, Trump said.

Can we expect all those who said filling a Court vacancy under Obama was top priority to hold the same views now?

Here is my strategy:
1. Identify the most conservative judge possible.
2. Hold that name and nominate Ted Cruz.
3. If Cruz is confirmed AWESOME. If NOT, make it a bruising fight. “WHAT do Liberals and DEMOCRATS have against Latino nominees.” Go full tilt OUTRAGE.
4. Nominate the first Judge identified.
The Democrats get a hollow victory. Cruz remains in Senate. We be an arch-conservative on the SC.
And all the Congress critters!
Save Cruz for the second opening. We need him to drive term limit legislation.
Janice Rogers Brown. Let the Dems try Borking a black woman. She’ll have them for lunch.

Ginsberg is a mystery. She is old, and she is ill. Why she did not retire in time for Obama to replace her with a strong liberal is a question I would like an answer to.
She has talked about retiring but is she doesn’t she could very well die in office. Either way,it is likely Trump will get at least one more nomination to the court.
That is going to change everything. And this is the reason the left is going crazy. What they could not win in the legislature they have won through the courts. End that path to liberal rule and we may have a chance to turn this nation around.
This will be an epic battle. The left is determined to change the character of the court in their favor. To them, “mainstream” means a Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
Yes, Ginsburg is 83 and Breyer turns 79 this year. I was also a little surprised she didn’t retire, but maybe like the polls, she was counting on Hillary to win (LOL).

I agree. It appears Trump will be replicating Obama’s “flood the zone” strategy if you will. Do so many things that will enrage the left and their MSM allies at once that they can only cover so much at once instead of one at a time and allowing them time to stop each initiative.
What I would love to see is Trump, the day after Inauguration, to drop about 100 huge political bombs on the head of the uniparty.

One Executive Order reversing all 0bama Executive Orders
Fire CIA Director
Fire DNI Director
Fire NSA Director
Bureaucratically bludgeon 0bamacare into a coma
Fly down and lay the first brick of the wall
Reallocate seating for the Press at Press Conferences, and CNN gets no seat. Breitbart gets their seat
Etc.
Just so much rain of F.U. that they’ll never recover.
