I noticed last week...some polling in France. Le Pen is two points minimum ahead of Fillon. Guaranteed to be her and Fillon for the primary winners, and face each other in the final election.

She will oddly take a lot of government employee votes (normally would be voting for the liberal party) because Fillon swears he’ll terminate half-a-million French government employees. So, it’s turning into an amusing election where the union gov’t folks will vote for Le Pen.

I noticed last week....she wants an election deal later to decide about returning to the French Fran. That will stir up some German comments and probably draw some more French votes as well.

I'll bet she's already met with Trump after entering through the private entrance at Trump Towers...or at the minimum there's been a meeting between a staff member of each of them.

Vive Donald and Marine!

The NF is good on immigration and exiting the EU but what else? They are very socialist on the economic front.

“private visits”

MFGA!

Trump’s political success is of an entirely new type. Ms. Le Pen is wise to come learn what she can in time to deploy similar strategies to Make France Great Again!

Bloomberg quotes an unnamed aide to Donald Trump as saying the President-Elect has no plans to meet with Ms Le Pen.

This does not preclude him from making plans. It also does not preclude LePen from meeting with Ivanka or any other of Trump's trusted advisors.

She will likely meet with several of President Trump’s top team members. Wisely, I assume that she wants to be square in the middle of the rising nationalist (as opposed to internationalist) movements in Europe and the US.

This being said, it is next to impossible for them to communicate at a distance without both their governments and opposition monitoring the heck out of them, with the intention to undermine and hurt them both. I would not put it past either government to even try to waylay a courier carrying documents.

So it has to be done in person, if not face to face. This is because neither wants a meeting between them to be used as propaganda against them either. Again, smart move.
