Your mind is chained to that official statistic, the unemployment rate. It's so misleading as to be a lie...And Exhibit 1 as to why government statistics should be taken with a sand truck full of salt.

I'm saying the official rate doesn't measure anything meaningful...So it doesn't relate to anything else, and cannot be used to compare different times.
