I don't think the report was "given" to McCain. I think he was part of the cartel arranging for oppo research via a private contractor, Orbis Intel, and Christopher Steele, the Brit ex-spy, is director of Orbis. Orbis was contracted by repubs and dems for oppo research on trump. McMullen was in the CIA for 10 years, spent a lot of time in England with Brit intel. McMullen may be the one who directed them to the intel firm, he may even be a friend of Chris Steele.

The 4chan guy who takes credit for it has had his twitter acct shut down, but maybe not because of the Trump stuff. The guy is a real racist, anti-semite, white supremacist, I mean really, not using the terms like they're usually used. He goes by S.T Prudence on Twitter, and on 4chan, he is anon. Anon was in a war with Rick Wilson, kept sending him proton files. Wilson finally blocked him from twitter, that is what set off his war with Wilson.

He later contacted Wilson after being a long-time faux member of one of the pro-hillary boards he belonged to which Wilson also frequented.

Don't know if you remember or not but late in the game, Wilson was over and over talking about a big October surprise that was coming. I mean like, 20-30 tweets in a row.

It never materialized. I believe McMullin turned them onto the Brit firm with the ex-spy, and contrary to McCain getting the file and being worried about its legitimacy, he was taking to the FBI the work product that he and others had contracted for ... That was in December, after all the attempts to change the EC votes and the recounts, remember? It was their last hurrah.

I have keeping up with guy on 4chan for awhile, and what he says is true about Rick Wilson. His last tweets were in the wee hours of the morning today, and he answered the many tweets asking him to show his work, that he was meeting a lawyer because he could be in danger of a fraud accusation.

He hasn't been on pol/ since, and his twitter is down. so if he shows up again it should be to go public with his work product, or he was just trolling.
