Senator John McCain Pushed Trump Dossier to the Intel Community
Big Government ^ | 11 Jan 2017 | John Hayward

Posted on 01/11/2017 11:50:54 AM PST by drewh

The Daily Mail on Wednesday reported that Senator John McCain (R-AZ) pushed the dossier full of unverified claims about Donald Trump to the FBI:

Sworn Donald Trump enemy John McCain admitted Wednesday that he passed the dossier of claims of a Russian blackmail plot against the president-elect.

The Arizona senator issued a public statement amid mounting questions of his exact role in the affair – and how a document riddled with errors and unverifiable claims came to be published.

‘Late last year, I received sensitive information that has since been made public,’ he said.

‘Upon examination of the contents, and unable to make a judgment about their accuracy, I delivered the information to the Director of the FBI.

‘That has been the extent of my contact with the FBI or any other government agency regarding this issue.’

But the Daily Mail – which, it should be noted, seems to like McCain about as much as McCain likes Trump – argues that the “2008 Republican loser” might have been “far more intimately involved than that.”

Watergate legend Carl Bernstein is quoted telling CNN that McCain got the dossier from the former British ambassador to Moscow, who in turn got it from that mysterious “former British MI6 agent who was hired from a political opposition research firm in Washington” that we’ve been hearing so much about lately.

McCain is senile and should be forced to resign

For that to happen, the phone lines to GOP reps and the RNC have to melt down. It can't be just a few people complaining or it will fall on deaf ears.

It think its a lot more likely that he got it from Bill Burkett, who in turn got it from Lucy Ramirez.

Real soon, we will get news that McCain has developed a medical issue and he needs to go back to Arizona to spend more time with his family. Lindseed will just ride out his term if at all possible but with the New Trump supporter Lt Gov coming in after Nikki is shoved off to the UN, he might be pulled behind the shed as well.

Federal officeholders — senators and congresscritters — cannot be recalled. This has been litigated in federal court (Idaho, 1967) and state court (New Jersey, 2013). McCain can meet his maker, resign or be expelled by a two thirds vote of the Senate.

McCain can’t be impeached, but the Senate can expel him by a two thirds vote.

McLame is so out of touch that he thinks “resign” means to give another signature!

There should be a Change.org petition calling for McCain to resign or be impeached. McCain is an 80 year old senile SOB, he violated the same intel violations of disclosing secret intel the secrets act violation.

Also, he says now he doesn’t know if it is true, say what?

Arizona, you stuck us with this man but we don’t want him around for the next 6 years. we need him to be impeached
we need a petition

Unless there is punitive action against McCain, and against bureaucrats, Trump’s plans will grind to a halt. The stakes are higher than most recognize.

A US Senator can’t be recalled or impeached. The Senate GOP caucus could strip him of committee assignments or seniority, or even expel him from the caucus. President Trump can negotiate with McConnell and other Senate leaders to force McCain’s humiliation.

A senator can be expelled from the Senate, but the two-thirds vote required isn’t realistic.

McCain, Graham, and I believe Rubio too at times have been trying to run our foreign policy.

McCain and Graham pushed Obama to support the Muslim Brotherhood in Libya. This resulted in Libya and Egypt’s governments being taken down.

Soros funds were involved in the process as well, in the inception nation Tunisia, before it’s government fell.

Moving on, McCain, Graham, and again possibly Rubio were involved in pushing Obama to fund the so-called liberation group in Eastern Syria.

Low and behold, that group turned out to be al Qaeda and ISIS.

Funding and Arms were provided to these groups. For the record, that’s three of the most anti-U.S. terrorist groups on the planet.

McCain has recently pranced off to the Ukraine to shoot his mouth off there and make promises on behalf of the United States which were not his right to make.

Obama and John Kerry set U.S. police, as much as I dislike it, but McCain IS NOT a policy wonk in the U.S. He is a U.S. Senator whose job it is to travel and fact find, not travel and set U.S. policy. His promises to the Ukraine could influence them to take actions thinking we had their back, when we couldn’t and shouldn’t.

He has also been trashing Russia and expounding on actions that “MUST” be taken against it. That is not his job. He needs to shut up in public, and do his best to conduct himself with the dignity of a U.S. Senator.

McCain needs to be stripped of all his committee memberships. He should be censured for his disgraceful actions. If at all possibly, he should be voted out of the Senate for actions that make him unfit to be a member of the U.S. Senate.

I am not an expert on the process to remove a Senator, but John McCain is not fit to be a U.S. Senator.

His recent provision of a clearly false report on Trump to our security services merits him being ejected.

We have enemies enough on the Democrat side in Congress. We don’t need a destroyer in our midst.

Donald Trump was elected President of the United States.

He will lead our foreign policy, will work with Republicans in the House and Senate.

McCain should not be there when he does.

Certainly Lindsey Graham, and possibly Marco Rubio need to go as well.

These Democrats in sheep’s clothing are not on our side.

Trump is our titular head and will be for the next four or eight years. I cannot express strongly enough how much I resent John McCain’s actions.

McCain made it his goal to take down George W. Bush. He trashed his policy for years from the Sunday talking head shows.

The citizens of this nation should not be subjected to the spiteful negativism of this man during the Trump years.

Send him home!

Man, I can smell the lawyers in that one a continent away. Big time CYA. McCain claiming "he" didn't make it public, so he found "somebody" who did. Claiming that he was unable to determine whether it was accurate, shielding himself from knowingly spreading demonstrably false and defamatory information. Claiming that "he" only contacted the FBI just one itty bitty single little time. Just the FBI, nobody else. So, "somebody" shopped this thing around heavily and he knows it, in my opinion.

Fox News is so far up McCain’s ass they can see daylight when he opens his mouth. We are stuck with this jackass until he dies.

You should see what he does to us in Arizona. He tells the IRS to go after conservatives, holds fake stacked town hall meetings; it’s ridiculous. I wish Trump had not endorsed him in the primary.
