No, he was ticketed for leaving the car unattended and running. If he were in the car and it was warming up, there would have not been a ticket. Yes it’s a very silly law and if I were a cop I would use my discretion and not give a ticket. My only point was it was a misleading headline. The point being please read the article before commenting on it. Don’t just rely on the headline.
