I hadn't seen the painting before. Apparently Duncan Hunter removed it to save the rest of us from the trauma of viewing a badly done 4th grade art project.

Of course the “protesters” are depicted as peaceful, well-groomed, aspiring rappers. What a fantasy, and really, the painting is trash. Poor technique, poor scaling, no cohesiveness, poor use of color. Obviously not a realistic/realism scene, but not abstract either, just a childish mish-mash I’d expect to see on a refrigerator in the projects. I think Mr. Hunter did a public service by removing this garbage that was left behind by someone.
