Outgoing White House staff and President Obama-appointees are struggling to find new work after Donald Trump and Republicans generally swept into office last November.

Thousands of Obama loyalists are struggling to find work in a city now dominated by the GOP, according to a report from Politico. “It feels like there are just thousands of us trying to find a job, and there are no jobs,” Mira Patel, a longtime Clinton aide told Politico.

Democratic operatives and Obama staffers no longer have the more than 4,000 presidential appointed jobs to transition to after President-elect Trump takes office.

Politico describes how a generation of young operatives from the Hillary Clinton campaign and failed down-ballot races are still managing their “shock and grief” from Clinton’s loss.

‘There Are No Jobs’: Obama Loyalists Scramble To Find Work

The only answer is to look in the Workers Daily or whatever Muslim rag they can find. I absolutely positive that they are qualified.

If you want to satisfy your Schadenfreudian cravings, I’ll bet the DC-area Craigslist is a good place to start. You can probably see late model Priuses going for pennies on the dollar.

Welcome to the world a lot of America has had to deal with for the past 8 years, while you mocked and ignored them

“When one has no talent, the government is the only place one can find work.”

True-also, everyone knows the Fed is casual about their ‘work ethic’, and actually about ethics altogether. :)

"Soon after Clinton’s loss, top level campaign staff worked to connect staffers to private companies interested in recruiting the campaign’s robust tech team."

SERIOUSLY? Do you think their IT staff will be in high demand?

The same people who advised Podesta on email password security and on how to handle Phishing attempts?

The same people who provided security for Huma's laptop?

The ones who handled HRH HRC's email server?

The ones who bleach-bit the hard drives after receiving orders to NOT do so?

Mind boggling!

But, but, 90 quarters of job growth in a row! Could that figure have been ... misleading?

If I were an employer and got a resume from one of these mokes, I would not bother with reading it and toss it in the trash. Probably not 1 in 10 would even be worth taking the time and effort to read and even that one would be full of BS.

I hear McDonalds is hiring - at least those whose minimum wage scales haven't been raised to absurd levels so they started cutting staff and using robots.

HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Well, now they have all that time to spend with family.
They can strengthen family ties and enjoy the opportunity to get in some reading or gardening or visit with friends.
Isn’t that what they told us when they were putting so many out of work? I seem to remember someone telling us that it was actually enjoyable to be unemployed.

Now they are going to see just how lovely it is to not be able to pay the car insurance, the electric bill or to have barely enough money to buy food, but none for anything that isn’t absolutely necessary for survival.

Welcome to the world in flyover country, you won’t like it any more than we did. Hope you get a look at reality, and it bites you in the rear. You helped cause this mess.

I am actually trying to feel a bit of empathy, for the low level people, but its nearly impossible. If Hillary had won she would have dramatically increased h1-b visas, which probably would have ended my career. None of these people would have batted an eye.

The real problem is that there aren’t enough private sector workers to pay the way for the public sector workers.
