Graham calls Republicans Celebrating Russian interference a 'political hack' - 'you're not a patriot
Breitbart ^ | 1/9/2016 | Pam Key

Posted on 01/09/2017 6:17:08 AM PST by HomerBohn

(Watch video at link)

Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said any Republican celebrating Russia’s hacking into the 2016 presidential election were “making a huge mistake” and described them as a “political hack.”

Graham said, “To my Republican friends who are gleeful, you’re making a huge mistake. When when Wikileaks released information during the Bush years about the Iraq War that was embarrassing to the administration, that put our troops at risk most Democrats condemned it, some celebrated it. Most Republicans are condemning what Russia did and to those who are gleeful it you’re a political hack. You’re not a Republican and you’re not a patriot.”

He added, “When one party is compromised all of us are compromised. And here’s what I’m going to do with Senator McCain, we will introduce sanctions that are bipartisan that go beyond the sanctions today against Russia that will hit them in the financial sector and the energy sector where they’re the weakest. And we’re going to give President Trump an opportunity to make Russia pay a price for interfering in our elections so it will deter others in the future. I hope you will take advantage of it.”

For what it is worth this is the actual title on the Breitbart site. I have always thought we were supposed to use the actual title.

The only thing that died with the release of Podesta’s emails, was Hillary’s reputation, or whatever she had left of a reputation. The DNC is NOT a government entity and if Wikileaks had exposed the RNC’s emails that would have been fine with me. Come up with a better password or email system and you don’t need to worry about Wikileaks. Correspond using a blackberry, that’s the gold standard. If you’re using yahoo email, or an android or Apple phone, you’re screwed. The Israeli’s already cracked the code for hacking an Iphone.

This was not the Russians hacking the government of the USA. It was the Russians hacking the DNC and the Clinton Foundation. In the end, it matters not who reveals the truth but that the truth is revealed.

Why do state GOP committees allow open primaries? They should be illegal in all states.

Florida is a closed primary state.............

>> When I read the article, it seems the quote in the headline was NOT about celebrating a Trump victory, but about “Russian hacking” <<

It’s an all-too-typical Breitbart “click bait” headline. Breitbart can criticize Graham and McCain all they want. Fine. More power to them. But that’s no excuse for Breitbart to keep up its old game of misleading readers by using headlines that don’t deliver.

The true disinformation campaign starts with the premise that the MSM has equated "hack" with "leak" - two completely different concepts.

Trump HAD TO have benefited from Russian hacks, and there was NO POSSIBILITY (in the vapid minds of the talking heads) that ANY insider from the DNC or Hillary's campaign could have POSSIBLY leaked ANYTHING to Assange....doesn't fit their narrative.

Also, there has been a complete dismissal of the fact (proven fact) that the DNC, and especially Hillary, were hideously careless and naive about data security. In the case of the DNC, their egregious problems and illicit activities were exposed. In the case of Hillary, state secrets were exposed - both little to do with Russia.

With 20% of Hillary's $2B campaign contributions coming from the Saudis and other foreign actors, the MSM has set aside any hint of foreign influence that was promoting Hillary. Hillary benefited from money, while Trump MAY HAVE benefited from some kind words from Vlad.

Oops!

The Breitbart headline is accurate. My bad. It was the FR poster who changed the headline — something that used to be verboten on FR. But I guess it’s OK now.

“that put our troops at risk”

I’m opposed to ANYONE leaking information that could kill our troops.

So...what does that have to do with someone leaking DNC emails? And why is Swishy upset about leaked DNC emails when Hillary gave foreign governments access to TS/SCI info on her illegal server?

And when will videos emerge of John McCain and Swishy in bed?

Anyone claiming their party’s candidate is illegitimate in any way needs to be removed from the party. I hope on of the things Trump does is take over the party as presidents usually do and kick such jackasses out!

I will gladly plead guilty to not being a Republican, Ms. McCain[nee] Graham. My definition of Patriot appears to differ from yours. I celebrated Donald Trump's victory because I am a Patriot. Your significant other, John McCain is going to have to keep you on a short leash because you start talking about things you know nothing every time he lets you out of his sight. And I do understand, though I don't know why the people of South Carolina love and adore you so much. Perhaps you, with all your charm, are their answer to Scarlett O’Hare.
