I saw Streep on TV talk about playing Thatcher, saying that it was difficult to play her (Thatcher) because she (Streep) was playing ‘for the other side.’

Nicholas Cage, who will be playing Reagan in an upcoming movie somewhere, said he was worried if he portrayed him in a joyful or positive way his "colleagues" in hollywood might be infuriated. Now that's an echo chamber ...

I hated the movie Thatcher. She was a giant among Britain’s politicians. They spent half the movie portraying her as a doddering fool. I know she had Alzheimer’s, but her life and legacy should have been the only focus. If any of the Left’s Democrat ‘heroes’ develop Alzheimer’s, do you think Hollywood will focus on their Alzheimer’s behavior the way they did Thatcher?? NOT!
