I hated the movie Thatcher. She was a giant among Britain’s politicians. They spent half the movie portraying her as a doddering fool. I know she had Alzheimer’s, but her life and legacy should have been the only focus. If any of the Left’s Democrat ‘heroes’ develop Alzheimer’s, do you think Hollywood will focus on their Alzheimer’s behavior the way they did Thatcher?? NOT!

Government subsidies take many forms, and the Hollywood liberals have no problem taking anything they can get free. Behind all the moral superiority they claim is- I believe-the practical fear of losing their household help, gardeners,working slobs that keep their estates running(cheaply). They would never say it, of course, except in claiming concern for their ‘help’, but purging this country- and California most specifically- of illegals from nearby Mexico would hurt them PERSONALLY. Their insular, myopic world would become more expensive and a little more like the daily lives of the Deplorables. The MAID’S are gone...what do they do with laundry, dirty dishes and the garbage?? LOL

that's definitely a large part of it, I think. Even though I am not certain those kind of noncriminal aliens will actually be deported. Remember during that California drought a while back, how Cher and Streisand, and a few others, were actually visited by the police because they continued to water their lawns, usually large lawns, when it was prohibited because of drought conditions. These people have no interaction with reality whatsoever.
