Don’t hold out for Hillary Clinton to take on Bill de Blasio for New York City mayor, a top Clinton confidante said Sunday.

“I don’t expect her to ever run for any elected office again,” former Clinton aide Neera Tanden told CNN’s “State of the Union.”

Politicos are practically begging Clinton to run for New York City mayor to challenge de Blasio, Clinton’s former Senate campaign manager who was slow to endorse her for president

Don’t speak too soon. Chelsea is young, and she’ll have kids with hyphenated last names.

If the Machine manipulates things so Hillary has a slam-dunk walk into some elected office, she’ll be on it like a hen on a bug.

As of November 2016, owning big buildings in New York City is a more viable springboard to a presidential run than holding any elected office. :-)

Is she like a kangaroo, when you manage to land a solid blow, they stop fighting?

Let her run for office. She's such a dopey misfit that she'll spend the rest of her life in a safe House district where 90% of the registered voters are Democrats.

Chelsea Clinton has "third generation Kennedy" written all over her.

Whatever illness she has probably only safely allows her 1-2 public appearances per week.

Her kids, however, might just grow up to carry on the family tradition, albeit without the backwater swamp smarts that granny and grampa had.

She would get blown out in 2020 primaries. She would be 74, lost in 2008 and barely won in 2016 even with the fix. And she knows it

All true but for the last. I honestly don't believe she has accepted it. I don't think she is mentally capable of accepting it. She is a psychopathic megalomaniac.

But outside of her circle of creepy, worshiping sycophants I believe the powers that be in the party know it. I think the party wants to go further left, more anti Christian, more Muslim. The popularity among the party apparatus of Keith Ellison is evidence of that.

Right you are.

I suspect that in her private moments Hillary is so tired, feels so lousy, and loves to drink. So much so that she secretly is probably now quite grateful that she didn’t win, but would never admit it. She won’t even be alive in 2020.

My guess is that she has some sort of arrangement that she doesn’t get prosecuted if she stays away from elected office.
That’s why I don’t think she will get a pardon.

She will probably find some blue county in usa and run for congressperson (hah!)..
She needs some kind of shelter from all her ex-swindled acquaintances...cause they’re gonna want payback
She’ll use the you wouldn’t attack a us congressperson defence.

"I don’t expect her to ever run for any elected office again,” former Clinton aide Neera Tanden told CNN"

I've been saying the same thing since she lost the election.

It's over for her. She was too sick and worn out to run in 2016 in the first place. From this point forward, her number one priority will be just trying to stay alive.

She and Bill could have gracefully exited the political stage when she stepped down as SoS, but no, they chose to be kicked off.

I'm so glad that I was able to play a small part in that.

Hillary is in the accelerating stages of a fatal neurological disorder, likely Parkinson’s Disease or Parkinsonism. I give her 3-5 years, tops. Odds are that DIRT-X-POTUS42 will outlive Her Royal Heinous.

And that is the most delicious thought of all. She'll go to her grave knowing that she was soundly rejected by the American people.

She’s an arrogant but vain creature.

Mayor of NYC is a big step down from leader of the free world. It’s also a lot of work and very retail, and I don’t see her with the patience to handle that much detail.

Also, it would be seen even by her supporters as a “gimmee.” Like running for US Senate or getting appointed SoS, it’s an easy win for her, and I don’t think she wants to go out like that: she can win an easy election, but when strongly challenged (HillaryCare, Obama in 2008,Trump in 2015) she always loses.

I don’t think she can handle all that.

But if she ran she’d win in a walk.
