An investigation by CNN’s K-File has found that Trump advisor Monica Crowley, who the president-elect has tapped for a senior communications role on his national security team, plagiarized many parts of her 2012 bestseller, What The (Bleep) Just Happened? The Happy Warrior’s Guide to the Great American Comeback. CNN discovered and documented more than 50 instances where Crowley, a former Fox News contributor and syndicated radio host and columnist, had lifted passages or phrases — some wholesale — from a variety of sources including Wikipedia, think tank websites, and news articles and op-ed columns from numerous publications like the National Review, Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and many others.
The Trump transition team defended Crowley in a statement to CNN and called the allegation — which CNN backs up with essentially irrefutable side-by-side comparisons — a “politically motivated attack that seeks to distract from the real issues facing this country,” insisting that Crowley’s “exceptional insight and thoughtful work on how to turn this country around is exactly why she will be serving in the [Trump] Administration.”
CNN was unable to get a response regarding the discovery from either Crowley or her book’s publisher, HarperCollins. Crowley is currently set to become Trump’s senior director of strategic communications for the National Security Council. She was previously accused of plagiarizing part of a Wall Street Journal column she wrote in 1999, an allegation she denied.

Amazing! Trump appoints someone and the “journalists” investigate them from top to bottom within weeks.
Obama was president for eight years and getting the old media “journalists” to investigate the sleazy, corrupt slime he appointed was a non-starter. A democrat was in office, so they looked the other way. The new media didn’t, and got some results.
May the new media continue to grow and eclipse the old.
I’m skeptical. Phrases? It is easy to match phrases and sentences with commen words. Also, I would expect a major book publsher has controls in place to avoid such things that could bring law suits.

I’ve heard Crowley’s extemporaneous (not plagiarized) commentary many times on Fox News and it amply demonstrated her articulate, incisive grasp of politics and world and domestic affairs. That was why she was hired by Trump.
So practically every CNN story for the past 8 years was plagiarized from white house propaganda writers, and they are complaining about this ?
Joe Biden was a plagerizer too. So what.
As best I can tell, nobody ever heard of Obama or anybody he appointed until the day they assumed office. It’s like they crawled out from under rocks.
How the heck do they know Wikipedia didn’t plagiarize Monica?

All this proves is Monica could do Joe Bidens job.

One is "up to 50." So is zero. So is 50. I hate the MSM. This is just more proof of how clean Trump's past must be since the 20 investigators paid by Bezos at the WaPo plus operatives from every other liberal media outfit found almost nothing.
