After President-elect Donald Trump named Senator Jeff Sessions as his pick for attorney general, liberals began brandishing their pitchforks and lighting their torches. As Trump's inauguration approaches, they've amped up their assault on the character of Senator Sessions. Trotting out decades-old allegations, the left has attempted to brand the senator with the charge of racism. The senator's camp, of course, hasn't sat idle, and has directly confronted and answered the accusations.
The point man for Senator Jeff Sessions' defense is William Smith. Currently Congressman Gary Palmer's chief of staff, Smith previously worked for Sessions as the chief counsel for the Senate Judiciary Committee. In fact, William Smith was the first African-American to serve any member of the Senate Judiciary Committee as chief counsel.

If yo go back and watch The Ben Carson prayer breakfast speech...he’s introduce by Sen. Sessions. Sessions ends up looking very comfortable between the Obamas and Dr. Carson.

This doesn’t matter. What matters is that he’s been CALLED a racist and for that, he must pay. Never mind actual evidence.
Well, to liberals this doesn’t matter. Someone’s actual experience with Sessions doesn’t matter. Since this story conflicts with the narrative that Sessions is a racist, the MSNBC crowd will perform character assassination on this person.
To the liberal, the narrative is what is important.
This African-American Hill Staffer will now be declared not officially black, because his politics are incorrect.

Actually, the “narrative” is only a “device” to try and derail Senator Sessions approval for his job in the Trump administration. The Liberal/Marxists always resort to their “narrative du jour” to attempt to run someone they regard as a competent opponent out of a key position. It’s simply Alinskyism on steroids.
He is racist if he didn’t contribute to Jesse Jackson and publicly insist all whites owe blacks a life of leisure for perpetuity.
That is where we are now, and that is the current definition of “racist”...

Modus operandi of the LEFTIST, convict first, ignore logic or age of accusation, it is the ‘seriousness’ of the CHARGE that is important! A very successful technique when you OWN the MSM and the elite classes. May have some difficulty when someone actually uses the bully pulpit and his twitter account to respond very quickly.

That’s the difference between Trump and Reagan. When Ted Kennedy, et al lynched Robert Bork, Reagan withdrew his name. Reagan, though still one of my heroes, did not have the chops for the street fight that Trump has; hand-picked by God Himself.
Going forward, and until the end of time, Trump, everyone associated with his administration, and every action taken by his administration will be branded as racist by the Left.
It’s all they have, anymore.
