If you're using Firefox web browser they have a GREAT ADD-ON.. it is free.. you can make a $5.00 donation via Paypal to help the developers out.

The ADD ON is called AD BLOCK PLUS 2.8.1
It works very, very well. Best of anything I've tried
I've been using it for 3 years now.

It takes 10 secs to download and install.

Go with the default settings.
