DESPICABLE: Teacher bullies 9-year-old girl for deer hunting: “Killing animals is not what we do!”

The problem of left-wing public school teachers and administrators bullying school children for thinking and acting like normal Americans seems to be a continuing one.

Two years ago Wisconsin talk-radio host Vicki McKenna, in a story which quickly went national, outed Wisconsin school principal Melissa A. Horn for bullying an 11-year-old boy, threatening to expel him for bringing a “virtual gun” to his virtual (i.e., home) school. His offense? Displaying a tiny picture of a gun, with an American flag, on the computer which he used only at home — an image viewable by no other student. See blog posts here, here, and here.

About a month ago, Vicki’s colleague Mark Belling (the godfather of Wisconsin conservative talk radio) outed a Wisconsin public school teacher, Courtney Hiers, for bullying her entire class, via a public Facebook post in which she called her students “racist” for rejecting her liberal whitewash of Islam.

Now Vicki has outed a Ohio public school teacher for bullying a nine-year-old girl, Domonique Yatsko. Domonique’s offense? Proudly displaying a photo (containing no gore), on her sweatshirt, of her posing with a buck she had shot on her first day of deer hunting. Specifically, this photo (see link for photo)

As Vicki has previously urged, to have any hope of combating the malignant leftism which is entrenched in much of the public educational system, and to have any success in deterring public school employees from bullying children who are raised in conservative households, conservatives need to “name names” — to publicly identify, and castigate, the offenders.

The name of the bullying teacher at Hinkley Elementary in Hinkley Township, Ohio, is Hanna Copa.

My 6th grade ohio history punched me in the face three times and knocked me out of my chair onto the floor for farting in class. After much, pressure he had to apologize-that was it. Yearslater, the high school football coach shoved me through a window (also in ohio). He didn’t even apologize. That’s bullying

I don't think she's much better looking than Horn:

She's got the crazy eyes.

If a teacher here even thought of that, they’d be run out on a rail. Kids always bring pictures of their hunting adventures.

Waaaaay back in the 50s.
My Home Ec teacher refused to sign my pass to go deer hunting because “ladies” didn’t go out and kill things.
I allowed as how there were more of us ladies out there hunting than there was in the class room right then (just she and me) and took my pass to the principal and explained why the Home Ec teach hadn’t signed off and he fixed it.
Oh, the teacher hailed from Chicago and was a “liberated woman”. This meant she worked and her husband stayed home.

wish the girl was brave enough to say “No Mis Vicki, this IS what rely people do- We hunt our own food- we don’t rely on others to butcher and process our foods so that we don’t have to see how food is processed ourselves, We’re not such precious little snowflakes that we wilt at the sight of Delicious Delicious venison that we harvested ourselves- Thanks Fer playin Miss Vicki- “

>She should be stripped naked and driven into the winter countryside with two matches and a butter knife.<

That would work, too.

Alaskan Girl Scouts participate in animal trapping, skinning Wednesday Posted Nov 12, 2003 at 3:24 AM

By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS ANCHORAGE, Alaska --

In a practice that has angered animal rights activists, Girl Scout Troop 34 in Alaska is learning to trap and skin beavers.

The girls are killing the beavers as part of a state flood- management program.

"We think it sends a very, very bad message that when animals cause a problem you kill them," said Stephanie Boyles of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. She said the Girl Scouts should want girls to become "stewards of wildlife, not abusers." Last spring, about 10 members of the Fairbanks troop and their families helped catch two beavers using a snare and lethal traps. The girls were taught how to find the animals' dens and how to lay the traps. Working under close supervision, the girls used knives to skin the beavers.

The troop had the pelts tanned and plans to make hats and mittens once a dozen hides are collected. The girls also want to cook the meat.

They plan to begin setting traps out again this month. Alaskan Girl Scout leaders said they know of no other troop in the country to take part in such a program.

Officials at the Girl Scouts' New York headquarters did not return repeated calls. But in a Sept. 16 letter to PETA, spokeswoman Courtney Shore said the organization does not promote trapping or hunting and does not offer merit badges for those activities.

Shore noted that Troop 34, made up of 13 girls ages 10 to 12, participated after an invitation from the state Department of Fish and Game. "It is understandable why the troop responded positively when approached by a state authority to conduct an activity that is commonplace in that area of the country," Shore wrote.

The state-run Take a Kid Trapping program is aimed at controlling flooding and other damage caused by an increasing number of beavers along the lower Chena River in Fairbanks. It is open to kids as young as 7.

Alaskan Scout leaders said the program is a "non-issue" in Fairbanks, where trapping has a long history. Troop 34 leader Dona Boylan said she wanted to impart lessons in responsible game management to Troop 34's members, who are city girls, at least by Alaska's standards. Fairbanks is a city of nearly 30,000.

"Trapping may not be pretty, but the girls understand the seriousness and huge responsibility of taking a life," Boylan said. "They understand that when humans impact their environment, they become ultimately responsible for maintaining a healthy population of the animals they have to coexist with in these urban centers." Girl Scout leaders said none of the girls would talk to The Associated Press.

"I feel like PETA doesn't have a concept that trapping is considered a heritage here in Alaska," said Mike McDougall, a trapper who worked with the Scouts.

Federal education dept needs elimination.

Stafes are better at tailoring needs and then less strings attached to state funds. No federal mandates for monies. No feds taking state money to give back to states, it stays within the states.

our public school system. Another huge swamp that needs to be drained!

Drained? No ... Eliminated! ALL education should be in the private sector. Get government completely out of the business.

When liberals use the word “we”, they mean “what I believe we...”.

Think of Otoken saying “That is not who we are”. Translation: “That is not who I believe we are”.
