(snip) White House press secretary Josh Earnest says the beating demonstrates 'a level of depravity that is an outrage to a lot of Americans.'

Did Earnest, Obama's press secretary, simply misspeak here? Or did he inadvertently reveal something that he wanted to keep hidden?
I normally try to give folks the benefit of the doubt. But Earnest is an experienced speaker. His phrasing is more than just a little bit odd.
Joshie is just telling us that OBAMA wasn’t outraged!!
Well truthfully, there are Americans to whom this is not an outrage. And I don’t mean just racist blacks. Lurk on DU, to see how it’s being not just minimised but completely denied by some.
Earnest, among many others demonstrates the utter depravity and inhumanity of the Left, who can’t look beyond their politics to see that an individual, a person, a human being was brutalized.
He accidentally told the truth.................
Nice of Josh to include the rest of the country, because it isn’t an outrage to anybody he knows personally.
seems as if Earnest was somewhat trying to justify the actions of these racist thugs because of their despair as a result of Trump being elected.
Jan. 21 should be a day when all roads around DC should be one way only exiting DC for all the democrats, thugs, protestors and other a$$ holes to leave the Capitol of the United States.
It’s who Joshingly (not)Earnest is. Hussein too.
Great Concept - a ‘Rat Diode.
Tanisha’s son has health problems, which I’m sure are being paid for by Tanisha’s full time job and health insurance.
FWIW, I make his surname the adverb, Joshing Earnestly.
He earnestly lies for his god.
That quote is near the end of the article. And it really jolted me. To Earnest, the attack is an outrage only to “a lot” of Americans. But not to all Americans?

I’m SURE that statement is true. It’s not an outrage to leftist elites who can never admit that blacks commit horrendous crimes. Boys will be boys.
I was certainly disappointed when Obama was first elected president back in 2008. But I saw a silver lining. Because of his heritage, and his charisma, Obama had an historic opportunity to bring the races together.
Maybe...just maybe, I thought...President Obama would do something good on this front.
Boy, was I wrong.
“Rat Diode”
Ha, ha, that is good analogy. I have worked in electronic since the 1960. Understand completely.
Ok... Black population 13.3% so "a lot" is 86.7%?
Blacks demanded “Rights,” they got their “Rights,” now we get to see how they use those “Rights.” We have a hostile minority in our midst and are constantly bombarded with propaganda as to how we must tolerate attacks both verbal and physical.
I think he meant that a lot of Americans thought it was what white people deserve.
Sad to say, but there is much truth in that. And things have only gotten worse - much worse - over the past eight years.
This will not be an easy problem to solve. But a key part of the solution is jobs. Right after WW II, a kid - any kid - could leave high school and move right into a good, full-time job. That kid would earn good money, money enough to buy a car and get a mortgage on a decent house.
That kid was usually too tired after an eight-hour factory shift to go running through the streets causing trouble.
If Trump can bring back those jobs, he will go down as one of the greatest presidents ever.
The left excuses any behavior that either attacks their enemies (anyone who doesn’t agree with them) or furthers their cause.
Only when the behavior is laid bare via horrific video (or hacked emails) do they twitch.
Yep, some are celebrating the kidnapping and torture. Also to note they call the assailants “teens”. I was unaware of 24-teen.... While the victim was 18 and they call him a ‘man’ in every article I’ve seen.
