Police have responded to a shooting inside Fort Lauderdale / Hollywood International Airport Friday afternoon.
Details have not been confirmed by police, but early reports indicate as many as seven people were shot. Former White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer, who was traveling from the airport, tweeted out following the incident:

One report via twitter on Local10.com/news in Ft Lauderdale gave a description as “white”. Take that for what it’s worth cause the Muslim shooter in Chattanooga that killed several servicemen was described as “white”, also. Of course, he was the American born son of a “refugee”. PBI was almost always my first refueling stop when flying to the mainland from the Caribbean. I know it well. Do you remember the Memorial Day sniper in Houston? That almost shot the rotor off a cop chopper? Marine, we never heard a motive. There must be an affiliation, it’s happened a few times since.
