No, since he notices went out 12/23/16, I’d say he gave them nearly a month!
I was wondering if it might be routine for them and others to tender their resignation with a new president.
They usually get to languish into the early first term of the new POTUS - he's giving them the 2 week notice to ensure they are out when he's in - I really love this guy...
I think GWB did not do this in its entirety. Any incoming President can change a large number of staff at all agencies and ambassadorships.
GWB, setting the ‘new tone’ (whatever that was), did not replace all the staff, keeping a number from Bill Clinton. When he tried to remove a few later in his tenure, the left and the media accused him of ‘breaking the law’ (he did not).
Trump should replace ALL staff that he can under the law as an incoming President. This includes staff from obama, GWB, clinton, GHWB, etc. DRAIN THE SWAMP
