Wasn’t there an informal survey done for several years starting back in the mid-90’s where aides, clerks, interns and others who dealt with Congress about who was the dumbest person in Congress? If I remember correctly, Patty Murray and Barbara Boxer ran neck and neck and bounced between #1 and #2 for years. Just something to think about.
But she did take Paul Ryan for a ride a few back. Maybe he rates right up there close to her and Boxer. Life is fickle.
An lower federal taxes which currently are collected for education. Tell the states, it’s your ball game. I don’t even think the feds should put in vouchers or do anything (except return them to DC) because it is a 10th amendment issue.
Patty Murry was voted dumbest Senator two or three years in a row, and as since been edged out by Maxine Waters.
there are 24 agencies in DC dedicated to Education, none of which have accomplished their stated objectives.

I would have to agree with that. Three bitter dummies with the best staffs, makes sense.

Maybe it was a contest for all of Congress. They didn’t put Hank Johnson on the ballot?
“to privatize and defund public education.” Excellent goals. Only a selfish politician can reject those two goals.
Public schools’ usefulness has passed. We owe our nation’s children better.
