For comparison I would put into the Near Certain Great category the 18 year old Slovak crossover singer Patricia Janeckova. There may be others. There probably are.
In the possibly great category I would put teenager Laura Brenton and the not quite 13 year old Amira Willighagen. Both are much younger than either Janeckova or Evancho so you just have to wait and see how they turn out. But at an equivalent age I think both are more talented than Jackie.
But not to knock Jackie Evancho. She is good and she is getting better. Time will tell us how far she can go in the music business. It's a tough racket.
