Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) let slip a terrifying reality when it comes to the power of our nation's president over "executive branch" agencies like the CIA. In an interview Tuesday with MSNBC's Rachel Maddow, Schumer said President-elect Donald Trump is "being really dumb" by taking on the intelligence community because if he does "they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you."
Just let that soak in for a minute.
One of the most powerful senators just admitted that it is "stupid" for a president to oppose the intelligence community, which he is in charge of, because it will "[get] back at you."
Maddow, perhaps realizing the gravity of what he just said, questioned Schumer further asking skeptically: "what do you think the intelligence community would do, if they were motivated to?"
"I don't know... but from what I am told, they are VERY upset with how he has treated them and talked about them...," Schumer said.

Hard to do when they are unemployed. Interesting comment coming from a Congressman threatening the President Elect with a government agency - but nobody ever said Schumer was smart.

And they are the furthest left of all the intelligence agencies. Just ask anyone who is or was in intelligence.

Ya it does doesnt it. In fact it sounds very much like the CIA does what it wishes when it wants w/o oversight. Thats a big problem. TO me, our intel agencies arent worth the $ being spent on them. 9/11 came as a complete surprise to them.

I sure hope Sessions can deal with this or we will be left with only one FINAL option.

Trump had a total anal exam from the New York media for the last 30 yrs. and from the national media, the Republican and Democrat parties aka the Uniparty the last 18 months. Other than an out right attempt by the spooks to take him out I doubt there is little they can do to hurt the man.
ChuckU and other regular political politicians would be afraid to take on the intel bureaucrats because they know the spooks would drag out garbage on them. Trump is the perfect president to reform and reorganize all the intelligence agencies.
As for the actual intel employees it is time to ask yourselves are you looking out for America or are you looking out for the NSA, CIA, DIA, etc... and yourself?
