As was mentioned in previous posts, China probably doesn’t suffer from the promises of future payments in exchange for votes today that we have. Our “unfunded mandates” are killing us. Cities, States, and counties are coming up short. The once rock solid Muni bonds are now in jeopardy.

China has over 600 million middle class. I HIGHLY doubt that 240 million of them work just to support the US.

Think about that. China has a Population of 1.375 Billion versus our Population of just 330 Million.
Almost five times the Market size yet we can only manage to crack 20% of their Exports to us.
Me thinks the game is rigged or we have all those $.99 Cent Stores to blame. I’m still waiting for a Domestic Company to manufacture the $.99 Cent Sunglasses I buy there.
Yup - even worse - a lot of our exports to China is just raw material that is finished in China and then shipped back.

I thought it was China that requested smaller-sized condoms for its people. Hearing that they've improved their health standards speaks well for them.
We can severely cripple a number of Muslim countries from becoming energy self-sufficient, or even a net exporter of oil. We do the same to China and Mexico with our excise taxes.
