I’ve often wondered what characteristics and attributes people would use to describe what a “nigger” is. I know that the offense and hurt caused by using the nigger word is worse than anything imaginable these days. But, really, what does it mean? I totally reject the concept of "hate crimes".If,for example,there's convincing evidence that a person killed another person the first question that must be asked is "was there just cause?"...meaning,was it something like self defense? If not them it's murder (or manslaughter).I couldn't care less if the perp did it because of some form of racial/ethnic/religious hatred or because the perp was just having a bad day.Punishment should be the same.

If I was on the jury in that *Federal* trial in SC I'd vote not guilty right down the line because of my rejection of so called "hate" crimes.However,if I was hearing the very same evidence in a state *murder* trial I'd very probably vote guilty right down the line...and very probably vote for 9 executions.Those nine people were murdered for no good reason.Execute him...nine times if possible because of what he did,not why he did it.
