Why should they treat him and let him go, to return and try the same thing? Has anyone heard of any Palis who “saw the light” and gave up trying to kill Israelis?

Elor Azaria after video footage emerged showing him shooting Sharif in the head as he lay on the ground, injured and already subdued. Azaria was a patriotic Israeli soldier, living in a combat life/death situation who knew the moslems were often wired with explosives _ firing a shot into Abdullah was a matter of self preservation!

I saw somewhere where it said he faces up to 20 years in prison. If not pardoned, how much time realistically would he actually spend in prison?
