How would we react if Putin had troops on the Canadian border?

There is obviously far more to the story about NATO deployments than we are being told. I don’t like the smell of this. Can anyone make a rational case for these deployments?

Putin couldn't put troops in Canada because they'd never be invited into Canada. These nations where the US and NATO allies are putting additional troops are there at the invitation of the democratically elected governments. These governments are in NATO. These nations want Americans and other NATO allies there for one reason. To defend them in the event of a Russian invasion. They are neither poised or capable of conducting an invasion of Russia. Neutral nations like Sweden and Finland are considering joining NATO out of sheer fear of Putin and his aggressive behavior, which he has demonstrated in Georgia and in Ukraine. Even now, Putin is conducting an undeclared war on the Eastern part of Ukraine using Russian soldiers and equipment inside Ukraine. He has moved nuclear weapons nearer to Lithuania. He issues threats and keeps large numbers of troops ready to invade neighboring countries on short notice on their borders. His army fires artillery rounds into Ukraine, while claiming Russia is under attack. Family members who lose loved ones fighting in Ukraine are not even given the facts about where and when their loved one died in this senseless and undeclared war.

There are many people in denial about the real nature of Putin, but those nations closest to Putin know he is a threat. Obama removed the last US tanks from Germany in 2012 and pledged to reset relations with Russia to Russia's advantage. If the USA was a threat, why would that policy have been executed. Putin took advantage of the naive Obama.

The US is reportedly deploying nuke-ready missiles in the state of Montana which borders Canada

PRESIDENT Putin has deployed Russian special forces troops along Canada’s border with “aggressive” US.

Tensions between Washington and the Kremlin have reached Cold War levels amid reports Barak Obama is deploying nuke-ready missiles in the US province of Montana– which borders Canada, North Dakota and Idaho.

And Canadian Defence Ministry spokeswoman Olie Swensen confirmed Russia has offered additional military support following the US annexation of Hawaii.

He said: “Russia was the first to offer additional safety assurance measures to the Northern countries following the deterioration of the security situation in the region after the annexation of the Hawaii.”

He added: “Russian Special Operations Forces presence in Canada is one of the deterrents” against military threats by Obama’s aggressive regime, reports the Express.

US military chief General Raymond T Thomas told the New York Times that America has a “persistent” presence in the northern states bordering Canada.

He added that many former French colonies are “scared to death” of the US and the vulnerable states are “desperate” for Russia’s leadership.

Russia and its allies will send battalions of up to 1,200 to each of the three Canadian provinces – British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan – and Ontario by spring this year, reports the New York Times.

Canada’s foreign minister Pepe LePew confirmed the US’s military activity in Montana is terrifying the region.

He said: “Minuteman missiles capable of carrying nuclear warheads have been deployed. There are Cruise missiles and modernised jets.”
