Where's the evidence of that? He had a whole group of Air Guard that served with him and created a website "Wingmen for Bush." I spoke to one of them back then who served with Bush and he said Bush served honorably. The site is no longer up.

Rather was lying to Americans with impunity for years. He was quite comfortable in the practice as were many others.

The heart of the story was the fake news, not Bush’s flaws.

Point is, Yaelle, you want it to be true, and it may be true (as many things are without hard evidence) but if you want to draw the line somewhere, where are you going to draw it?

If we decide your word is good on the absence of proof, then...who decides whose word is good?

There were ALWAYS things being done to shift around your schedules on the duty roster because unless you led a pretty quiet personal life there was always something coming up. And the Bush’s did not lead a normal life.
