He said they didn’t get them from the Russians. Doesn’t mean that they weren’t responsible for the hack. We need to see the evidence before we can determine who was responsible.
It was a leak, not a hack.
The two most likely sources are missing, Eric Braverman, or dead, Seth Rich.

Assange may not know who hacked the accounts.
I'm not saying it was the Russians, but it's possible that whoever it was that gave Wikileaks the documents wasn't the same person or group that unlocked the accounts.
So which do we trust on this? Not so difficult of a decision for me.
The judicial system is innocent until proven guilty, but in the court of public opinion people who have a theory and point the finger at somebody are likely to be believed over those who don't have a ready suspect.
It's like Pizzagate. Those who have an explanation and put it out there have an advantage over those who admit that they don't know what was going on.
Well, there are some people, somewhere in our government and in the Democrat party, who are trying to start a nuclear World War III, in a real big hurry, before the next president takes office.
They want a war with Russia.
