3.) no penalties for failing to purchase.

So you’re saying just eliminate the mandate but retain the structure and let it collapse? I could go for ordering the IRS to not enforce but require them to send out notices with estimated cost to comply.

Well, Obamacare was the worst law shoved down the throats of the American people in a long time. It was a bad law, poorly concieved, and everything was big lie. I am happy that not a single Republican attached their name to this destructive POS law.
And the Republicans have to be careful that they don't replace one POS law with another. And the Democrats will sit back and watch, assuming that they will.
I agree. Putting something else in there for the truly down on their luck people, is ok. Not for grifters and liberals not reporting all their income, riding on the backs of honest American workers, like the few I know who contribute nothing to Obamacare, but enjoy all the benefits.
