The Facebook video, posted on Monday by Hasanah Tykeeba, is titled “PHILLY CANT NEVER CHILL.” In it, nobody is chilling and by early Tuesday morning, it had been viewed nearly 150,000 times.
What’s shown over the course of a minute of footage is a mass brawl between two families in the middle of a Southwest Philadelphia street. There are flying kicks delivered from atop parked cars, and a pair of police officers attempting to restore order.
Then, 30 seconds in, a baton-brandishing female officer is shown entering the fray. The street clears out and she’s one-on-one with a teenage female.

As usual, the person getting the beating is the one that didn’t obey officers and actually physically fought with police.
The girl really needs to learn from the Chris Rock video. this wasn’t about the girl’s race. It was about her attitude. She would have suffered the same consequences if she was lily white.
She fought the officer, repeatedly refused officers direction to leave the area. Am I missing something in this video?
I wonder if the ‘thugz’ think people’s willingness to endure them is infinite.
I am amazed that anyone would accept the job of trying to herd them. Cull them, sure, but continue to endure their pointless, mouthbreathing violent chaos?

The end of the story clarifies why this officer will not be reprimanded. She was dealing with a belligerent person who has admitted to throwing punches and successfully bruised up the cop.
i.e. this isn’t about race. It’s about attitude and actions.

I guess the theory is that, because she is a “teen girl”, the officers have no right to do anything to her no matter how badly or aggressively she acts toward them.

These officers should be given a belt, as well as a baton.
As a urban public school teacher I encounter these feral animals all the time, unlike a police officer who must maintain order, I just walk away as they scream, jump up and down, hit each other, lay on the floor, throw stuff, dance and jive, and threaten me. If I do attempt to “redirect” them, they always say, “I’s gots my rights beotch”. It’s no use because I’ll end up in the principals office long before them. The police are starting to realize this as well, why do anything, let these animals kill each other. And truly, who cares?

So a rabid punk kid, raised apparently by other rabid punks is too damned stupid to know you don’t assault a police officer, assaults a police officer and gets herself a long overdue beat down....

Not true.
A white girl would have been charged with assault and battery on a police officer. The black girl wasn't.
Just say no to crack!
Boys and girls: if you attempt to assault someone expect bad things in return, period, end of story.
