Welcome to the new internet now that control is not longer held by the United States. Thanks Obama.

Giving away control of internet is risky for U.S.

Welcome...Oh I have been in this new internet for a while :(

Ironic that you would post this to me...well at any rate, it is “small worldish.” I posted more than 2 dozen threads/articles about the internet transfer...as well as the mass DOS outages earlier in the fall.

Several of us Freepers were pretty vocal about trying to stop the transfer from happening. People called reps & Senators, tweeted, emailed, etc. to try to stop this, but to no avail.

I agree with you giving away control is risky business for US! We certainly are going to have problems with the internet going forward; however, Drudge stated earlier this week that when he had DDoS attacks earlier this week, he believed it was OUR government behind them.

I am not surprised :(
