Israeli Police Enter Netanyahu's Home For Questioning Over Corruption Allegations
Zero Hedge ^ | 1/2/16 | Tyler Durden

As the Obama administration shunned Israel last week, we warned that police were calling on Israeli Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit to allow them to open a full criminal investigation against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Today, as Channel 2 reports, Israeli police entered Bibi's home for questioning. The prime minister was quick to react, blasting "don't celebrate too soon over corruption probe."

As we detailed last week, on Monday, December 26th, Israeli police announced that they are absolutely convinced that a criminal investigation will be opened in the next few days due to new documents that were recently received in a special inquiry that began about 9 months ago.

The offenses that Netanyahu allegedly will face will be bribery and aggravated-fraud. In June it was reported that police had recently started their secret investigation, with demand that no details be leaked to the media.

“Gee, WHAT a coincidence. Odungo fails in his bid to unseat Bibi, loses his own election (his hand puppet Hillary lost), and next thing you know, Bibi is under suspicion for charges.”

Yeah, my guess is that the Israeli Government has some of the same kind of worthless human waste in it as does ours. Netenyahu is the duly elected Prime Minister of Israel. As such, he’s an ally until such time as his country removes him or he stands down. I hope he comes to Trump’s Inauguration (along with the President of Taiwan).

By what is happening to Netanyahu, they are trying to get to Trump, and anyone that supports Trump.

I don't think that's the case here. Netanyahu has outmaneuvered charges of corruption and fraud for at least 20 years.

This just may have nothing to do with us, our nation or our PEOTUS.

[Trump would do well to steer clear of this guy and maintain an amicable, diplomatic, but “hands-off” relationship with him.]

Why? Whose feelings is TRUMP going to hurt by inviting an ally to the inauguration? I, for one, am thankful TRUMP is standing by NETANYAHU and ISRAEL.

Just the left in Israel doing what the left does. They have investigated him twice before and came up empty.

Never wound a king

"Upon this, one has to remark that men ought either to be well treated or crushed, because they can avenge themselves of lighter injuries, of more serious ones they cannot; therefore the injury that is to be done to a man ought to be of such a kind that one does not stand in fear of revenge." And you, Brutus?

Machinations in the palace, by foreign agents acting under hidden agendas.

This has noting to do with actual corruption, it is all a manufactured crisis.

When you shoot at the king, don’t miss. Kings who are only wounded can be, well, pretty firmly committed to correcting the situation.

The corruption investigation has been going on for some time. On the face of it, there appears to be at least the appearance of impropriety.

I hate to say this, but having worked for an Israeli company and having known dozens of Israelis my takeaway is corruption is part of the culture. He may very well have done something that is corrupt. Corruption there is somewhat similar to Chicago. Many Chicago politicians pay no property taxes. That’s the way it has always been and will probably always be. I suspect corruption is so common in Israel it’s hard not to play along to get along.

Israeli Police Enter Netanyahu’s Home For Questioning...

I suspect the only question asked was, “Hi, guys, would you like coffee, tea, wine, or beer...?”

.
The Israeli left is just as corrupt as the US left, and ten times as crafty.

Nevertheless, in these times Yehova is fully in control of events in his land.

Israel is a sovereign nation that has its own agenda and isn't nearly as close to the U.S. as its real allies that share mutual defense obligations and have sent soldiers and other military assets to help us in military campaigns in Iraq, Afghanistan, etc.

Donald Trump was elected to Make America Great Again, and Israel has nothing to do with that. An unemployed coal miner or sheet metal worker from Pennsylvania or Ohio is more deserving of a place at Trump's inauguration than some foreigner.

This is tough to argue with, IMHO.
