The Sandford Townsend Band had a hit song in the late ‘70’s called Smoke of a distant fire.
The background vocals fit our attitude about the soon to be former POTUS.
“Don’t let the screen door hit you, on your way out.”
I forgot the lyrics that lead up to the screen door part. Even better and perfectly describes the snowflakes.
“This lying, and cryin’, is upsettin’ and gettin’ ya no where
It don’t stack up, so slack up and pack up
I just don’t care
Don’t let the screen door hit you, on your way out.
Don’t you drown when your dream boat runs onto the ground”
Off topic, we had some snowflakes at the family party last week. My mom is a strong Trump supporter but was upset that I might start an argument and basically told me that I wasn’t entitled to an opinion.
I finally made an offer. “I won’t start anything, but if they do, I will finish it.”
In typical snowflake fashion, nothing was said. But all of us Trumpers had a great time.
