Fact: The guy was selling bootleg cigarettes for less than the taxed rate in NYC. Now, I know this is a crime, but essentially, the police were enforcing tax laws. Regardless of whether or not this was police brutality, and whether or not he resisted, the truth is that this was a result of enforcing a minor tax.
The bureaucracy set this situation up. THEY should be held responsible.
