I can even tell you who first dropped the narrative: Robbie "What's a" Mook. It took them all evening and overnight to coordinate the Russian narrative and it was rolled out Saturday morning by... Hillary Clinton's spokesman.
This was immediately (and self-referentially) cited by every Ctrl-Left news agency, ABC/NBC/CBS/CNN/WaPo/NYT/etc with complete bald-faced lies like "multiple unnamed sources have confirmed" - based on the say-so of Robbie Mook, whom they quoted. Then others reported that "multiple news agencies have reported." Classic circle jerk. The "Russian Hack" then became canon.
That's how they do it. They believe reporting things makes them real, and they've been getting away with it for too long.
Wow is right. Even lefties are seeing thru the legacy media.
Kind of ironic - he faults the admin’s/MSM’s jumping the shark as being problematic - and then infers it’s a problem because Trump (originally called “level headed”) might do something stupid.
Stone’s “ Wall Street” is still my fave——one of the best movies ever made.
The buzz is Stone berated mega-star Michael Douglas, telling him he needed more acting from him.
Douglas has a habit on the set of staying in his trailer and talking on the phone....and other bad habits.
(hat tip Wiki) Stone’s numerous awards include
Academy Award for Best Director
1986 Platoon
1989 Born on the Fourth of July
Légion d’Honneur (2004)
Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay
1978 Midnight Express
Michael Douglas won for Best Actor in all Street.
Oliver Stone is a vocal supporter of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange. Stone signed a petition in support of Assange’s bid for political asylum in June 2012.[64] In August 2012, he penned a New York Times op-ed with filmmaker Michael Moore on the importance of WikiLeaks and free speech.[65] Stone visited Assange in the Ecuadorian Embassy in April 2013 and commented, “I don’t think most people in the US realize how important WikiLeaks is and why Julian’s case needs support.” He also criticized two upcoming WikiLeaks films from Alex Gibney and Bill Condon.[66]
In 2014, Stone announced that his Martin Luther King project, which he had worked on for three years, was aborted by the producing studios, Warner Bros and DreamWorks, following the objection of King’s estate to his screenplay, which deals with King’s adultery. Later Stone commented in a BBC interview: “These are not rumours; these are facts and Hoover had the tapes.”[26]

The Russia lie was desperation. They were skewered by the emails coming out and they knew it . . . but had to give true believers an excuse to ignore the facts.
Another point of interest: The attacks on Russia prove that the Democrat Party has moved TO THE LEFT OF PUTIN’S RUSSIA.
Because, as we all know, ALL ENEMIES ARE ON THE RIGHT.
Trying to find out the other guy's secrets has been going on forever and always will.
And pedophiles. It wasn’t a hack.. it was forced transparency of their own words in emails.
