Obama: I won't leave on Jan 20
Washington Examiner ^ | 12/31/16 6:00 AM | By DANIEL CHAITIN

President Obama used his final weekly address in 2016 to assure Americans that he will remain committed to defending the "progress" made by his administration after handing over the White House to Donald Trump on Jan. 20.

...

While the president initially indicated that he looked forward to a quiet retirement, at a time when many polls showed Democrat Hillary Clinton marching to victory in the presidential election, Obama has said his plans have changed since Trump ran away with the win.

"I promise you that next year Michelle and I are going to be right there with you, and the clouds are going to start parting and the sun is going to come back out, and we're going to be busy, involved in the amazing stuff that we've been doing all these years before," Obama told told supporters in late November. Obama also revealed then that his family plans to stick around Washington, D.C., for a few years while his younger daughter, Sasha, finishes high school.

Touting strides made in expanding health insurance coverage, job creation, bringing troops back to the U.S. from Afghanistan and Iraq, and killing al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, Obama said Saturday that the country has "made extraordinary progress as a country these past eight years."

The president said income is rising, poverty is falling and the auto industry is "resurgent." Turning to diplomacy, Obama said, "We shut down Iran's nuclear weapons program, opened up a new chapter with the people of Cuba, and brought nearly 200 nations together around a climate agreement that could save this planet for our kids." He also gave a nod to the 2015 Supreme Court ruling to grant nationwide marriage equality.

I expect that Obama will have weekly, or even daily, press conferences & speeches as part of an effort to “resist” Trump. Look for those to get lots of coverage from the MSM and on-air discussion by pundits. I also expect that many Obama supporters have burrowed deep into the bureaucracy and it will take a lot of effort to root them out. These people will probably take direction from Obama first. They may also be compensated financially too (under the table).

At Trump’s first press conference:

Random DriveBy: Mr. President, today, Ex-President Obama said, “. . . . “

President Trump: “Who?”

I think zero is afraid his “legacy” is nothing more than executive orders Trump will easily dismiss.

Zero has accomplished little that cannot be immediately overturned.

I also think he is scared. Like the liberal that he is, he is stupid. He forgot that all his illegal activities will be investigated by Trump. He though another liberal would take office and protect him.

A few months back Michele Bachmann was on Christian radio predicting exactly that scenario.

The boy president paws through the pile of manure, convincing himself there must be a pony in there somewhere. Ninety-two millions of Americans out of work in his no-recovery “recovery” weren’t wrong about their terrible disappointment with his presidency, and 62 million voters carried 30 states for Donald J. Trump to defeat Hillary in what he considered his “third term.”

Enough of the Obamanistas in government agencies acted in a manner that was clearly outside of the law (perhaps in anticipation of trifecta 'rat rule continuing to the End of Time) that this could get really interesting with an FBI and DOJ given free rein.

(Unless he pardons all political appointees and civil servants throughout the US government for all crimes and misdemeanors. That could be interesting, too.)

They’re going to attempt a government-in-exile, I guess. The Sec General of the UN just stepped down— is this to make room for Zero?

That would be sweet to have him the new SecGeneral and have the funding cut so that he would be in command of another failure.

The so-called “progressives” are deep in the rank and file of the government workforce and I believe these play a role in his Organizer in Chief delusions.

It's time for a Legislative/Judicial review of unlimited Presidential pardons, including past pardons.

I’ll believe he left when I see the prayer rugs rolled up and loaded onto the trucks.

I would give this ignorant, lazy POS one month of popping up like an wack-a-mole providing his delusional stupidity regarding any policy, law, or action that makes “America great again”, which for anyone who is not a brain-dead libtard serves only as further evidence of its validity. My guess is that after a few weeks of his mindless bloviating and inane attempts at personal criticism of Trump, the majority of the country will resoundingly say, STFU, and given the overwhelming public hatred for the enemedia, they will refrain from seeking the dipshit’s “thoughts”.

[he will remain committed to defending the “progress” made by his administration after handing over the White House to Donald Trump on Jan. 20]

In one signature PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP will delete much of the ‘progress’ made by the OBAMA ADMINISTRATION. OBAMA seems to have forgotten that We the People remain committed to defending the ‘progress’ made with the 2016 election.

The sleeping giant has awakened.

By charter, the Sec General cannot come from any of the five permanent members of the Security Council.

Barry can just publish a new Birth Certificate showing he was born in Kenya. They aren't a permanent member of the UNSC.
