Trump said politically incorrect things at every turn that were not guaranteed to bring him popularity. And he said many negative (but true) things in public and to people’s faces the whole time.

Chuck Todd is just another mediocre on camera person who creates and reports FAKE NEWS.
What then is the goal of a politician? Other than to steal money and freedom from people.

Exactly right. I wasn't a Trump supporter to begin with, but I never doubted that he believed what he was saying. I thought he was courageous (but perhaps foolish in terms of getting elected) to speak his mind.
What an ignorant ass. Even I can see Trump had ZERO interest in popularity, except among people who the government establishment hates.

It always strikes me that these people had 2 years to figure out Donald Trump, couldn’t do it. They tried everything they knew to try and take him down, Republicans, Democrats, Hollywood elites and the media and they came up empty. To not respect someone after that says a lot about how they see themselves. Clearly not too bright. So much so that they think that Putin has already figured him out and is already able to manipulate him. Pride cometh before the fall indeed

Todd and his simpleminded ilk were all woefully caught off-guard and left clueless about where Trump was coming from and who it was he was speaking too, a train barreling down the tracks with horns and lights blaring, flags waving and they still missed it,
Anyone else recall the venerated Bob Woodward running Matt Drudge down just weeks before the election because his site didn’t reflect the feckless controlled MSM narrative of Trump losing handily,
You can bet Todd is being coached.

I’ve been a salesman. My wife retired from sales, too. We never exxagerated or lied. And we knew many honest salespeople.
Todd is a salesman whose ultimate goal is ratings.
And he knows if he disses Trump, he keeps his job and stays on the guest list for all the right parties.
What a shallow life.
