I see the Decorah eagles at the nest and tree fairly often in the afternoons. They were there today, surveying the snowy scenery.

BRRRRRRR! Gives me the shivers to look at that. LOL

Kittehs on the head do make it difficult to get some shuteye. LOL! At least you’ll have your pillow to yourself tonight.

I allow three to sleep with me. They snuggle but don’t bother me. The rest are shut out of the room. Now way anyone could sleep with that many kittehs and they WOULD all be in there if the door was open.

They don’t stay around the nest much once their young have fledged. It would be harder to find them for pix if we go too late in the season. I’d like to go once the eaglets start branching. They’d still be in the tree and would be visible from the ground.

Well, back home after a 2d trip to PHX. Now, traded in our 2003 Grand Caravan for a 2017 Dakota at the direction of Mrs SR. In DISCUSSION with Mrs SR on the fact,that I think, that the Dakota-needs Running Boards (Running Boards, going back in time),because it's hard to get in and out of the seats and that the seat, at least the passenger seat since I'm relegated to that one, it feels as uncomfortable as a McClellan Saddle.

I have a truck load of firewood to warm me up while I unload it and later also. The weather forecast keeps changing and they are saying 4 to 16 inches of snow but you know those weather people lie almost as much as politicians. Got to make the most of what the good Lord gives us. I think he is giving us a good government for a while.

I’ve noticed that you don’t particularly like poetry or allegory.

Actually, I do. But I prefer poetry like "Recessional" by Rudyard Kipling, "Ozymandias" by Percy Shelley, or "On First Looking Into Chapman's Homer" by John Keats over '60's pop.
