After news spread that Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz was buying personalized shotguns for his offensive line this Christmas, the players were quickly offered another gift: gun locks.
The gun-violence-prevention group CeaseFirePA said it was sending gun locks to the Eagles players who were receiving the shotguns from Wentz.
The rookie quarterback, who is a hunter, is buying the offensive line Beretta shotguns, each with the player's number engraved on the butt of the gun, according to ESPN.

I'm not sure of the percentage but some significant number of players have misbehaved - and prospered. Two or three years ago Tim Tebow just about wrecked the image of NFL players and the league got rid of him faster than Al Sharpton speeding by an IRS late payment facility.

The locks are racist, they don’t want blacks to have shotguns.
Yes, but the overwhelming majority of firearms manufacturers include a lock and a spent cartridge in each box, so they do have to worry as much about about tracking individual state requirements. My state (Virginia) does not require either one, but it has been more than 10 years since I purchased a new firearm that did not include both a spent cartridge and a lock.
I’d be shocked if there wasn’t at least one player on the Eagles offensive line that wasn’t legally able to posses a gun.
