DC private schools giving Kellyanne Conway the brush-off
NY Post ^ | December 28, 2016 | Richard Johnson

Kellyanne Conway is worried establishment elites in Washington, DC, are so prejudiced against President-elect Donald Trump that she won’t be able to get her kids into private school in the nation’s capital.

Conway divulged her fears to other parents at the Elisabeth Morrow School in Englewood, NJ, on Thursday night, when her twins, George and Claudia, performed a concert with other students. Alicia Keys was also there to hear her goddaughter perform.

Conway, who was Trump’s campaign manager, is moving to DC to be counselor to the president. Her husband, George, happens to be the lawyer who wrote the Supreme Court brief when Paula Jones sued Bill Clinton for sexual harassment.

The mother of four had experienced some good-natured razzing from the left-leaning parents at Elisabeth Morrow.

“But after the concert, all the parents converged on Kellyanne, congratulating and sucking up to her,” said one source. “Kellyanne is asking everyone with connections to DC schools for help.”

I am with you 100% on this one hoosiermama they should homeschool ALL the kids together in the White House, hell at 33,000 a year for ONE child in a private school they would be able to pay someone a VERY NICE salary and benefits PLUS be more involved with their kids during the course of the day!!! They could even open the class up to some of the SS kids !!!!

Send them to a parochial school - where they would actually learn something.

I think Trump should provide funding and order all the private schools to accept X local teens each for diversity

Again the choice policy pushers avoiding what they will foist on America’s inner city minorities in Communist Core brainwashing. She needs to put her in kids in a “CHOICE” school.

That’s $33k down the drain. Guessing she wants this on their Ivy league college applications which is more money down the drain. Thought she was smarter than this.

I'm so glad I live in Texas. We have a few snotty enclaves, but they're outnumbered by all of the band parents

Go, TX. Go, conservative schools. Go, band parents. Too many parents forget they own the schools or are too lazy to bother. That's the reason our school system has gone leftist and bottomed out.

Hoosiermama the more kids involved the better can you imagine being a kid attending school in the White House, Trump has said he wants to build a ballroom on the grounds they could use the ballroom with the school on WH grounds Security would be NO PROBLEM!!! Barron would make great friends without having to deal with the hoity toity snottiness of the VERY RICH in DC!!! I an expecting the VERY RICH in DC to become non existent VERY QUICKLY!!! Poor lobbyists will have to find a NEW living and their kids will have to find what it is like to attend a substandard public school!!!

There’s a huge difference between income and spendable take home. For many, $33k is just an unreachable dream.

Multiply that by her 4 kids. That’s $132k. That’s nothing short of laughable.

They will demand that the public school come up to their standard.
The problem now is not enough parents in city who understand what “standards” are !

As I'm sure you've discovered, many of our teachers and administrators are more center-left than center-right. It irks me when I see teachers with an attitude that "we parents work for them".

I've had a few friendly discussions with my kids' teachers, just to keep things as balanced as possible.

For example, a teacher sent us an email that my (14 YO) son was caught playing a game on his tablet during class. My response was dual-edged: one, we'll discuss it with him as reinforcement; two, what the hell did you expect when every student (I hate the term "leaner") is issued a tablet instead of textbooks?

I usually let my wife respond now, as she sees my replies as "confrontational"...lol.

When I have the time to meet with a teacher, to include my grandson's (in kindergarten), I give them a brief bio so they know where I'm coming from: tested at 12th grade reading in 6th grade, 4 year academic scholarship, bachelors and masters degrees, lived in Germany for 4+ years, 8 years in the military, CPA for 20+ years.

LOL, that'll eliminate 10-15 lost days due to "inclement weather."

Start a private school which teaches conservative, patriotism justo christian values. I’d donate to that. The closer to Congress and the USSC the better
