It’s just hard to believe people willing to wreck kids for their jollies. I know the sex drive is strong. Every cat dead on a freeway was following his b*lls to a female in estrus on the other side. But still.
I agree that repeat offenders should never be let out, and I am ok with them not being allowed to live. Damn right they will never stop. My abuser went younger and younger and when he was finally caught he had descended to preschoolers.

You don’t have it so you don’t believe it. The sex drive can be stronger than even thirst or hunger. It is stronger than the fear of death. I’ve seen people throw their lives away to have sex just once.
The guy in the article, “starved” and couldn’t control himself. He grabbed for it and didn’t care if his life was over. In his mind, the sex IS his entire life and nothing else mattered. Imagine a starving person staring at a steak dinner with a gun to their head. Inevitably, they’ll take the bullet for that one bite
Only way to stop a truly starving person from eating is a gun or iron bars...
