When a car dealer puts their signage on the rear of my new car I ask them how much per month they’re going to pay me.
I won’t buy a car that has the dealership name on it. I also won’t drive a car with dealership plates. Not the paper, the plates. I replace them as soon as I buy it.
I tried pulling a dealer medallion off the rear of our new vehicle and was unable to do it using heat alone I am dissatisfied with that dealer and now take the vehicle to another for warranty repair or service. I will ask them to take it off.
My last new car I told them to remove their dealer stuff and then watched. They weren’t pleased, as I’d already done very well in the pricing.
I finally found t-shirts with pockets without any branding on the pocket, I bought extra.
Given up on “polo” shirts and the like.
First thing I do, after purchasing a vehicle, is remove the dealer's advertising.
We have asked dealers to remove them and never use a dealer license plate frame.
Knew somebody that tried to remove the name "Passport" from the back of their car but it started to peel the paint. He removed the P and so his car said "assport". Deciding that might be misjudged by onlookers, he then worked off the T in the back so he drove around in an "asspor".
I asked him why he didn't remove the A instead and have a "ssport", he said he wasn't thinking linearly.
