Agreed, and now they have most college students convinced that slavery was created by the US and didn’t really exist anywhere else. In reality, slavery was a normal part of life in almost every country on earth, not everyone participated in it but it was there... like prostitution or drugs, it was there and supported by some people but not all people. It had more than one form as well, indentured servants were slaves by contract. And it wasn’t isolated to black people, many other have-nots were subjected to it.
