Why is it that Resolution 181, which established the state of Israel, declares it legitimate, and now, they’re saying their previous resolution is illegal?
Last week's resolution does not declare that all of Israel is illegitimate, just the so-called "occupied territories" that Israel won in the 1967 Six Day War from Jordan (the West Bank, including East Jerusalem) and Syria (Golan Heights). Israel's enemies want to force its retreat to the indefensible borders that existed prior to 1967.
