The election of Donald Trump has a lot of people on edge. Many of them for good reasons. Beyond the sort of hackish concerns of partisans, people are genuinely worried about his conflicts of interest. Until a few minutes ago, it looked like his sons were going to be running the same kind of influence-peddling foundation as the one he spent the entire campaign criticizing Hillary Clinton for. They are worried also by his tendency to shoot from the hip, even on sensitive topics like nuclear weapons, without apparently considering the consequences or, often, even knowing much about the subject.

Trump has been publicly, verbally toying with running for decades.
people are genuinely worried about his conflicts of interest.
What people? I most certainly am not. What his family does is entirely different then what Hillary did as an actual Government official!
The White House is reviewing your press credentials in light of your biased campaign coverage and intends to hold you responsible and accountable in your reporting of the news. You no longer are a monopoly that can filter the news and this administration intends to put competition back in journalism. Those news organizations that cannot or will not adapt are going to become extinct.
The election of Donald Trump has a lot of intolerant and ignorant people on edge. Intolerant people do not need much information to feed their biases.
If they have a smidgeon of openness, they might change their minds in a hundred days or so.
I second your motion.
Bingo!!!!
It is easier to dismiss the whole national press corpse as ABCNNBCBS.
Trump could turn it into a Going Away dinner, as he will not be “entertaining” any MSM org for a long time, if ever. Then after the dinner, hand out “1st Place” trophies to all in attendance.
Don’t go. Don’t host. Don’t elevate the media. Let them be what they are....inconsequential democrat party hacks.
Yes but never taken seriously
Didn’t this author used to work at National Review? Funny, he sounds like any random writer for the NY Times or Slate.
Simple fix: Don’t hold one.
This is nothing but a dinner with the President that the liberal media created to make themselves feel important.
Skip it.
I would say cancel the dinner. But what they can also do is have the correspondents from Breitbart and Conservatve media as speakers and let them hammer the liberal media all night. Make them feel so uncomfortable that they get up and leave.
Then tweet about how they were good at dishing it out but could not take it. Ridicule them mercilessly, using Alinsky’s rules. And don’t stop.
I stopped reading right there.
What about the RATagandist/DNC conflicts of interest (plural) on steroids?
Ska-rew 'em and their sacred gravy train.
Drain the swamp!
Drain the swamp!
Drain the swamp!
FAKE NEWS
ROTFL!! She actually said that? That's awesome!
