They were “concerned that it would have an impact on the election”

Not “they were concerned their candidate had comitted criminal acts and was unworthy of the office”

Funny how their thinking works.

“...began exchanging increasingly tense and heated phone calls, nearly a half-dozen throughout the afternoon and evening”

So...was it FIVE calls? Are FOUR “nearly a half-dozen”?

Another cover story for the Lynch bitch. Lynch, Obama, and Hillary are all equally criminal in this coverup and the American citizens know it.

Just think. Hillary could have avoided all of this if she never used a private server, 2nd chance— turned over all of the emails.

They all claim the timing was bad on the Comey letter. Clinton was trying to run out the clock on this whole mess— she only needed another week!

100% focus on the supposed political impact of the FBI’s action; 0% on the criminality being investigated. This is identical to the DNC Media’s current coverage of the WikiLeaks revelations: 100% focus on unsupported claims that the Rooskis “hacked the election” and nothing about the DNC corruption that the leaks revealed.

There’s a dead body in the closet and all the press can do is discuss whether or not the closet door should have been opened and by whom!

Just as liberals cannot understand the importance of “content of character”, neither can they understand that the primary issues are with the content of the leaked/hacked DNC memos and the FACT that Hillary deliberately violated statutes regarding the handling of classified and extremely sensitive documents. Because of her actions, these documents were accessible to her maid, her “most trusted” personal (Muslim Brotherhood) assistant and that assistant’s demonstrably morally depraved and eminently black-mail able husband.

Less exalted potentates have spent time in prison for either their handling of information (Martha Stewart) or their answers to the FBI during an investigation (Scooter Libby). Lock her up!

From the Dem playbook, When attacked go to any one of the reponses:

>Attack the messenger
>Use the “everybody does it” defense
>Play the “victim” card
>Play the “race” card

Did I miss any?

Do we use the word TRUTH anymore?

EVERYTHING that got out to the public (us proles) in this mess happened to be the truth!

I guess that there ‘truth’ thingy isn’t important anymore.

Hillary could have used government email like other officals did and there would not have been any issue. Hillary has no one to blame but herself.

From the article:

"Into that vacuum stepped Comey, an FBI director who prides himself on having a finely tuned moral compass..."

Hmmmm... false pride that goeth before the fall. Think again, James...

Starting New Years resolution early. If it’s NY Times, LA Times or Washington Post, I won’t waste my time reading it.

Speaking of our Attorney General, when is she going to warn protesters that trying to shut down a presidential inauguration is a federal crime? When will the poofters at the NYT and WaPo editorialize against a shutdown?

“We were incredibly concerned this could have an impact on the election.”

Isn't an ongoing investigation of a presidential candidate something that the public HAS A RIGHT TO KNOW? Wasn't the Justice Department's dilemma SOLELY caused by the fact that the person under investigation was a Democrat?

Does any sane person think the press or Justice Department would hold back from reporting on any potential scandal or investigation involving a Republican? Wouldn't they WANT such an investigation to affect the election?
