The attorney general could have ordered FBI Director James Comey not to send his bombshell letter on Clinton emails. Heres why she didnt.
Twelve days before the presidential election, FBI Director James B. Comey dispatched a senior aide to deliver a startling message to the Justice Department. Comey wanted to send a letter to Congress alerting lawmakers that his agents had discovered more emails potentially relevant to the investigation into Hillary Clintons private email server.
The official in Deputy Attorney General Sally Q. Yatess office who received the FBI call immediately understood the explosive potential of Comeys message, coming so close to the presidential election. Federal attorneys scrambled into offices on the fourth and fifth floors of Justice Department headquarters, where they huddled to figure out how to stop what they viewed as a ticking time bomb.
It was DEFCON 1, said an official familiar with the deliberations. We were incredibly concerned this could have an impact on the election.

Blaming James Comey is like sitting in a bar all night getting loaded, then blaming your DUI on the cop who pulled you over on the way home.
It's actually more pitiful than that. It's like blaming the cop who pulled you for suspicion of DUI but let you go with a warning, after you've crashed your car and killed several people.
I always thought like you do, but no way bozo wanted Trump in there. Look how he’s trying to punk Trump now!
It’s even worse than that, the cop had pulled you over a second time and let you off with another warning
"Into that vacuum stepped Comey, an FBI director who prides himself on having a finely tuned moral compass..."
Hmmmm... false pride that goeth before the fall. Think again, James...
And I thought Justice was suppose to be Blind to things like this. Scuse me.

“They” need to be fired.
Starting New Years resolution early. If it’s NY Times, LA Times or Washington Post, I won’t waste my time reading it.
“They need to be fired”
Absolutely. A bunch of the CIA needs to go too. Drain the swamp!!!!
Speaking of our Attorney General, when is she going to warn protesters that trying to shut down a presidential inauguration is a federal crime? When will the poofters at the NYT and WaPo editorialize against a shutdown?
Their job is not to stifle an investigation because it may cause political problems for the subject.
The settlement with Paula Jones SHOULD HAVE BEEN the story; he sexually harassed her, and THAT case was the only reason Monica was subpoenaed.
The feminazis I’ve worked with would sputter that the affair was his personal life, then shut their stupid mean faces when I asked about the sexual harassment. Impossible to justify or defend; Paula wasn’t one of his sluts, but a victim of sexual harassment/flashing. Conspiracy theorists couldn’t dismiss her as they did the rape allegation of Broadrick; Paula Jones, who never had a relationship with BJ Clinton, described his tallywhacker...
But, he is staying in Washington to sabotage Trump any way he can. I truly believe he hates Clinton’s more than Trump.
“The sun will come up tomorrow”—translation—”We need not fear a Trump presidency”. Lol
