We’ve seen cities use eminent domain for things like a new Costco.

Surprised that they need a Senator for this.

Not that eminent domain is appropriate for any of these cases.

The federal laws regarding railroad owned land are a very special case. it is extremely difficult to acquire railroad owned right of way.

My daughter is a right of way agent & property appraiser for a state highway department. All I know is she told me that everything is a LOT different with railroad land. Especially eminent domain, on which she is something of an expert in her job.

Probably a unique experience for Chuckie to find blustering, bullying and threats are ineffective. ha FN ha
