I saw the first one but only because friends talked me into going. They all loved it, I was so bored to tears after about the first 5 minutes. It seemed like a really long movie. Thankfully I was a smoker and so I kept ducking out for periods of time throughout the movie. I might add it was the only movie I ever went out for a smoke during a movie. I also made refreshment runs, LOL.
The movie was so hyped up before it’s release, I went to see it to see what all the fuss was over.
They lost me at the very beginning of the movie, with those now famous words, “A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away......
I said to my 22 year-old self, this is a freaking FAIRY TALE!.....and it was. It had all the elements of a fairy tale, and the two ‘robots’ were comic relief..............
