The liberal comic strip Doonesbury is only current on Sundays these days. Every other day is reruns from the past, “Classic Doonesbury,” like there is such a thing. On the last Sunday before Christmas, cartoonist Garry Trudeau is having fun as liberals typically do: he imagines Donald Trump hating all reporters except the submissive fanboy from Breitbart News....and the Breitbart guy is dressed in full Ku Klux Klan regalia

Doonesbury is pathetic and not the least funny.
I remember reading Doonesbury as a kid during the Vietnam war, and knowing even then it was left wing crap. But I still read it.
The degree of humor I can attribute to Doonesbury over the years is in direct negative correlation to my age.
Our only “balance,” and, of course, he spent as much time bashing Trump as he did Hillary during the election.
50 years old and still going to college. Sounds like a preview of how some of today’s snowflakes will end up.

My local paper runs two ‘cartoonist’ who routinely run ‘hate Trump cartoons’. I’ve gone from subscribing to 3 daily newspaper to getting ONE PAPER ONE DAY A WEEK - ONE SUNDAY PAPER.
And with these unending vomits of hate for only one party th - I’m thinking about stopping altogether.
What is the matter with these people?
Just out of curiosity, why would you want a newspaper when you have Free Republic?
Hasn’t been popular since the Sixties.
Why would they put someone in a uniform that no one under 60 would recognize what it is suppose to be?
Where I live, the bus hands out free local newspapers. I don’t even bother with it.

It’s complicated - but I’m down to one paper on Sundays. Maybe I’ll go cold turkey next year...
